ILLY TWO DEGREES Tour – Live at Discovery Darwin

ILLY TWO DEGREES Tour – Live at Discovery Darwin

** Event Cancelled! Please see note from Illy below:

DARWIN, some bad news. I’ve cancelled the Discovery show in October.

I’ve been working on new music when I can this year. Which hasn’t been heaps, because it’s been a hectic year.

Some exciting availabilities to work on new stuff have come up really close the Darwin show. Which isn’t the biggest issue, except I need to be on the other side of the world for them to happen.

So I had to make the call. I’m so sorry. I NEVER cancel shows. I hate to do it. This is maybe the 2nd or 3rd time out of like 600. I know that’s no consolation tho.

So I hope you understand. I can PROMISE you that I will be back up in the new year. For anyone who had tickets already they will be fully refundable from point of purchase. Thanks guys.

On the plus side, hopefully I’ll have some new music in the not too distant future.

Platinum-selling Australian hip hop artist Illy has announced The Two Degrees Regional Tour, his most extensive tour of Australia to date, kicking off this July and finishing up in late November. This tour is the first time Illy will bring his ARIA #1 album Two Degrees to regional Australia, which includes stops in Port Hedland, Launceston, Toowoomba, Cairns, Warnambool, Newcastle, Mildura and Albury (just to name a few). It follows on from his largest ever capital city tour, featuring sold-out shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane earlier this year.

Illy has a good history of regional touring, hitting the road with Groovin’ The Moo Festival twice, along with a previous regional headline tour in 2014. He’s developed a strong love of regional Australia and is pleased and excited to be getting back out to these towns and performing again after such a long absence.

Illy says he is “Really psyched to get back on the road for such a huge run. It’s been a couple years since last time, and this will be the biggest I’ve ever done. Let get loose.”

His album Two Degrees includes current single Oh My featuring Tonight Alive’s lead singer Jenna McDougall, the triple platinum ARIA Award-nominated and APRA Award-winning single Papercuts with Vera Blue, the double platinum Catch 22, a collaboration with UK powerhouse Anne-Marie and live favourite You Say When featuring Marko Penn. Two Degrees is available now.
